Lockdown might have seen us all put a bit of a halt to our plans for spring, but now that we’re seeing the light at the end of the tunnel, we can’t wait for an amazing summer.
There’s so much to look forward to, and we can’t wait to celebrate our new-found freedom under bright blue skies with our loved ones. Whatever you’re most excited to do over summer (anything from tennis and sea swimming, to a well-earned vacation), at Deshebrado, we may be biased, but there’s nothing we look forward to quite as much as a summer barbeque - in our opinion, nothing tops it.
We think that there’s just something super special about celebrating the start of summer by firing up the barbeque for a sensational feast of quality grub. Given our knowledge, not to mention our passion, about the subject, we wanted to dedicate this blog post to sharing with you our top 4 reasons why a barbeque is our favorite way to spend a summer day.
Family time - without the need to go somewhere super fancy or fork out on something really expensive, a barbeque is a wonderful way to sit down with the whole family for some quality time, as a chance to chat together over some delicious food. It’s what life’s all about.
Informal dining in the great outdoors - we love being able to tuck in to our delicious food as we lounge on the grass, soaking up the sunshine. No knives and forks necessary. We love being able to serve up our hungry diners from our van, providing them with a relaxed friendly style of dining, without ever forsaking on the quality of our exceptional ingredients or the immense care taken in their preparation.
Plenty of crowd-pleasing classic dishes - what we love about barbeque food is the fact that it’s full of proper hearty classics, done absolutely perfectly. At Deshebrado, our food style is a fusion of a traditional low and slow method, with New World techniques and recipes, a combination which results in some absolutely knockout food.
All of the delicious add-ons - we love being able to cover our food with plenty of quality toppings, sauces and spices, to make for an absolutely mouth watering feast. Not to mention all of the yummy side dishes and refreshing summer drinks that come with it too. The whole combination of all of these different elements delights us every time.
